By joining this site I hope to broaden my horizons, meet and network with fantastic people from our fields and have a blast doing it!
I am 27years old and live in beautiful British Columbia where I specializes in precision cutting and coloring techniques, always pushing the envelope with artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail. I not only have a flare for hair but have a well respected and imaginative eye for make-up, keeping up with the latest techniques for hair and make-up trends as they appear on the fashion scene.
I try to continue to improve my skills through international training and was recently honored to attend the Intercosmo Color Moda in Bologna Italy, where they showcased the year’s upcoming trends in cuts and colors, and where I was inspired for one of my Contessa 2006 entries.
I enjoy competition work and in spring of 2004 placed first in the Wella Young Protégé Fantasy category (Hair/Make-up/Airbrushing/Costume design), and was then invited to compete in Toronto in spring of 2005 to represent BC.
My Make-up was also publicized in Urban male Magazine Winter 2003 issue, featuring one of the “Vancouver’s Five Hottest Women”. As well as Hair in Real Weddings magazine Spring 2007 issue for SDJ photography.
I regularly do hair and make-up for photo shoots and enjoy doing styles for fashion shows and weddings. My extensive travel experience has made me adaptable and more outgoing, as well as opening my eyes to various cultures. Having worked in customer service for over 7years I've learned the value of being a team player and how to maintain professionalism.
I have gained the reputation of being a reliable and dependable person and whether you want a contemporary classic cut or a funky avant-garde style, you are sure to be pleased with the experience you have with me whether it be sitting in my chair or working with me on set.
